Green Campaign Update...

Green in the Community    Larry Green has been busy over the past couple of weeks! He has attended numerous District K neighborhood, community, and civic club meetings. You also may have seen him knocking on doors and talking to District K residents. This past Saturday, Green participated in the Grads Within Green joined Madison HS students for the Grads Within Reach Walk Reach Walk to re-enroll students who had not returned to Madison High School this academic year. As a 1983 graduate of Madison, Green feels a particular responsibility to encourage the dropouts from his former high school to return and graduate. As he talked to students in the Hiram Clarke and Windsor Village areas, he met many who were glad to see someone from their own neighborhood encouraging them to complete their education. Immediately following the Grads walk, Green took to the streets of District K to campaign, shaking hands with every person he met. He answered questions about the newly created district and issues of importance to the community, and assured residents  of his commitment to serving all of District K. Green meets supporters on the campaign trail.
