Larry Green Garners Support From Council Predecessors

As Larry Green's campaign for Houston City Council District K picks up speed, he is also picking up support from some of Houston's top leaders. In the last week, Green has been endorsed by Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan and former U.S. Congressman Chris Bell, both of whom previously served on Houston City Council.

"I'm honored to have support from Vince Ryan and Chris Bell", said Green. "I have the utmost respect for both of them and their years of public service. They understand the value of putting the community first, which is the cornerstone of my campaign."

Also lending support to Green is former congressman Chris Bell. Bell is no stranger to the concerns and needs of Houston area residents, having served them for five years on Houston City Council.

"I am proud to support Larry Green for Houston City Council in the newly created District K", Bell said. "Larry's work with Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee and HoustonWorks shows that he has the ability to address the needs of the people and implement successful programs to improve the lives of Houston residents."

These endorsements add to the growing list of support Green is receiving from community leaders, elected officials, and organizations throughout the City of Houston.
